SHIRLEY, FOUNDER, DIRECTOR
Field Operations, Client Success
As a founding partner, Shirley has been involved in every aspect of Cohost Local and is generally the first face you’ll see when you get ready to launch your property with us. As a successful short-term rental property owner, she knows first-hand what it takes to stand out in a competitive market, and how to create top-notch guest experiences. Shirley will walk you through the onboarding process with ease and will work tirelessly every day afterwards to ensure your success.
For fun – She is a native Floridian (Gainesville), who loves sandy beaches, warm suns and the Florida Gators! She is a DIY enthusiast who is often immersed in projects around her house.
JOHN, CO-OWNER, DIRECTOR
Market Analytics, Pricing Strategies, Property Enhancements
John started his career in California’s competitive film industry as Executive Vice President of Studio and Media Relations for one of the leading digital media distribution companies in the world. He managed a staff of 100, oversaw a multi-million dollar portfolio and built valuable client relationships with the major film studios across the globe. After 10 years, he kicked off a successful contracting business. He brings his expertise to Cohost Local, excelling in client relationships, overseeing market analyses and managing property enhancement projects.
For fun – John is an avid traveler, serial entrepreneur and has a special love for sailing (and boats in general). He is a mid-century modern architectural and furnishings enthusiast with a particular love for Brutalist and Atomic styles.
JUSTIN, CO-OWNER, DIRECTOR
Interior Design, Property Enhancements
Justin is an interior designer, who often creates the pieces he incorporates in his work for clients. In addition to interior design, he is a much-sought after floral designer who has created high-end florals for elite clients such as Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGenerous and the Kardashians. His world travels influence his creativity and are reflected in the specialized work he does to create unique, inviting spaces for Cohost Local clients and their guests.
For fun – Studying architectural design, spending time with he and John’s two rescue pups, exploring the Hawaiian Islands, and applying his creative genius to just about anything you can imagine.
MYA, CO-DIRECTOR
Interior Design & Photography
Owner of Cove Designs, Mya lends her interior design and photography skills to a wide spectrum of clients, and is part of our specialized interior design team.
For fun – Her rescue pups say it all. Mya and her fiancé foster rescues and participate in rescue transports when needed. She has a special knack for planning unique events/experiences and a keen eye behind the lens.
